The data in this graph represents the NYC RF environment on August 22nd 2021.
The data was collected from three spectrum scans from outside locations in Manhattan, one at Tribeca park near One WTC, the Second near MSG, and the third on the east side near Trump World Tower. You can use these three scans to determine the television stations to avoid in Manhattan dependent on you location.
As of July 13th, 2020 Band 71 617-653 & 663-698 Mhz will be Prohibited by all but the new owners of the spectrum band. There are three areas of the 614-698 that we are still able to use with sone restrictions. They are as follows.
614-616 Mhz - Guard Band - Unlicensed and limited to 20mW
653-657 Mhz - Duplex Gap - 653-657 requires a part 74 license, & 657-663 is available for unlicensed, both limited to 20 mW transmitter power.
